Saddest Globes broadcast over in 30 minutes
Jan 13, 2008 by Ian Evans
The press conference that replaced the Golden Globes ceremony was over in 30 minutes, with the results read in machine gun style by the hosts of Extra, ET, E! News and The Insider.
Meanwhile, NBC, who lost their exclusive coverage of the event when it became a press conference, had Access Hollywood hosts Nancy O’Dell and Billy Bush announce the nominees while pretending that “results are coming in” from the press conference. While the press conference had already wrapped and nets like CNN were already discussing the winners, NBC’s commercial throws were still asking “Will Angelina Jolie win?” The answer was no, and NBC, the answer was given 15 minutes earlier.
Very, very sad. We have coverage of the 2008 Golden Globe winners.
