Adam Brody was born on December 15, 1979 in San Diego, California.
After landing a few small roles, Adam landed the role of Barry Williams in 2000’s Growing Up Brady. He then made guest-starring appearances on City Guys, Undressed and Judging Amy.
In 2001, he starred in Roadside Assistance and had a small role in American Pie 2 with Jason Biggs and Chris Klein. More TV appearances followed with Once and Again starring Sela Ward, Family Law, The Sausage Factory, Smallville, and a recurring role on Gilmore Girls with Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham.
In 2003, Brody wrote the short film Home Security. He also appeared in Grind and Missing Brendan. That same year, he became a houshold name and schoolgirl crush when he started his four year run on The O.C.
During that time he made appearances in Grounded for Life and Mad TV and in 2005 had a small role in Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. That same year, he appeared in the satirical comedy Thank You For Smoking with Aaron Eckhart and Maria Bello.
In 2007, he played opposite Meg Ryan in In the Land of Women.
