The Shape of Water takes Best Picture at 90th Oscars

The 90th Academy Awards were handed out in Hollywood this evening and though it was not a big night of surprises, host Jimmy Kimmel managed to comedy with just the right amount of recognition of the scandals that rocked the industry.

The Shape of Water took home Best Picture as many expected it to, while the Leading and Supporting Actor statuettes went home with the same quartet that’s picked them up at all the other ceremonies this season: Frances McDormand, Gary Oldman, Allison Janney and Sam Rockwell.
