Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone took in over $24.1 million at the box office this weekend, a drop of 58% from the previous weekend. That number was still enough to put it in first place. The film, starring Daniel Radcliffe, crossed the $200 million mark in about 15 days.
Behind Enemy Lines, the poorly-reviewed flag-waver starring Gene Hackman took the number two spot with a gross of around $19.2 million.
Rounding out the top five, the Brad Pitt/Robert Redford vehicle Spy Game took in $11.2 million, Monsters, Inc. still managed to scare up $9.4 million, while the Martin Lawrence comedy Black Knight added $5.7 million to its purse.
