Golden Globe Nominees Announced

In a ceremony held at 5:30am Pacific, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, with the help of Kelsey Grammer, Christine Lahti and Lara Flynn Boyle, announced the nominees for the 58th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
Nominees in the film category included familiar names like Jim Carrey, Tom Hanks, Russell Crowe, Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Though many North American audiences haven’t heard of Javier Bardem, his work in Before Night Falls was also recognized.
Film nominations included Billy Elliot, Erin Brockovich, Gladiator, Sunshine, Traffic, Wonder Boys, Almost Famous, Best in Show, Chicken Run, Chocolat and O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
In the television nominees, the lead foursome of Will & Grace got nods as did the men of Frasier. Show nominees included CSI, ER, The Practice, The Sopranos, The West Wing, Ally McBeal, Frasier, Malcolm in the Middle, Sex and the City and Will & Grace.
