Golden night for Brokeback Mountain and Walk the Line

The Golden Globes are over for another year and Brokeback Mountain had a great night.
The film won Best Motion Picture – Drama, Director (Ang Lee), Best Screenplay (Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana) and Best Original Song (“A Love That Will Never Grow Old” Gustavo Santaolalla & Bernie Taupin). The film did not get any acting awards. Best Actress – Drama went to Felicity Huffman for Transamerica and Best Actor – Drama went to Philip Seymour Hoffman for Capote.
On the Comedy/Musical side, Walk the Line took home the top prize as did it’s two stars, Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon
On the TV side, Lost took home Best Drama, while Desperate Housewives grabbed the trophy for best comedy.
