Our favorite talk show host, David Letterman, underwent successful heart bypass surgery on Friday. The comic, who has a family history of heart disease, announced earlier this week that he was having an angiogram. When the tests revealed some blockage, he was scheduled for immediate surgery. His doctors predict a rapid recovery and CBS will show reruns during this period.
