Fox to quit Spin City

Michael J. Fox, 38, has announced that he’ll be leaving his hit show Spin City at the end of the season to concentrate his energy on fighting Parkinson’s disease. He said he’ll leave the show after its 100th episode and fourth season.
“I could not be more proud of the show, our cast, writers, crew and all that we have accomplished over the past four years, yet I feel right now that my time and energy would be better spent with my family and working toward a cure for Parkinson’s disease,” Fox said. “This does not mean I am retiring from acting, producing or directing, only that I want to relieve the strain of producing and performing a weekly series,” he added.
