Celebrity financial adviser pleads guilty

It’s been a while since we visited the case of Dana Giacchetto.
Dana, you might remember, is the financial adviser to the stars who was charged with defrauding clients like Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller of roughly $10 million. He used the funds to help support his own extravagant lifestyle and when some of his clients began to notice activity in their accounts, he’d cover their money with money from other celebs.
The 37-year-old Giacchetto broke down in court when he plead guilty to the charges. He’ll be sentenced on November 3rd and faces between 46 and 57 months in prison.
