Early results for Potter are stunning

It looks like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone has been box office magic this weekend.

Based on studio estimates released Sunday, it appears that the highly-anticipated movie raked in over $93.5 million. That beats the previous record set by The Lost World: Jurassic Park, which pulled in over $72.1 million on its opening weekend four years ago.
