Ripa goes live

All My Children star Kelly Ripa will permanently warm the co-host chair next to Regis Philbin as ABC announced the search to fill Kathie Lee Gifford’s shoes is over.

Starting Monday, February 12th, the show will be known as Live with Regis & Kelly. Ripa will continue her role on her daytime soap.
