Mel C. heads for the exits

Melanie Chisolm, a.k.a. Mel C. or Sporty Spice, has quit the faltering Spice Girls pop group.

While all of the Spice Girls have tried individual projects, Chisolm, who’s in the middle of a solo tour, has found the most success. The last Spice Girls album, Forever, fell off the charts rapidly.
