Winslet splits while Heche marries

Two actresses experienced the two ends of the marital spectrum this weekend.

A spokesperson for Kate Winslet confirmed that the Titanic star had separated from her husband, film director Jim Threapleton. The couple gave birth to a daughter less than a year ago.

Meanwhile, Anne Heche, who was once part of Hollywood’s most visible lesbian relationships, married cameraman Coleman “Coley” Laffoon on Saturday. She met Coley while filming a documentary about her then-girlfriend, Ellen DeGeneres.
