Ted Demme dies suddenly

Ted Demme, who directed last year’s Blow, suffered an apparent heart attack and died follow a basketball game. He was 38.

Demme also directed the 1996 flick Beautiful Girls and won an Emmy in 1999 for producing A Lesson Before Dying.

Demme is the nephew of Silence of the Lambs director Jonathan Demme.
