Jodie Foster’s Panic Room had a record Easter weekend, taking in $30.2 million at the box office. Ice Age continued to warm people’s hearts at number 2 with a $18.6 million haul, while The Rookie was third in the lineup with $15.8 million.
Wesley Snipes may be playing a half-vampire in Blade II (#4, $13.2 million), but it was Robin Williams’ Death to Smoochy that sucked at #7 and a $4.3 million debut.
