Yoda takes Memorial weekend

The U.S. Memorial Day weekend is over and the box office take was a little higher than last year’s.
Taking the top spot for a second week was George Lucas’ Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, which added $60 million to its haul. Spider-Man showed it still has legs with a number two take of $35.8 million.
Insomnia topped the new releases this week. The film, which stars Al Pacino and Robin Williams, had a box office of $26.1 million. The new Dreamworks animated flick Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron was fourth with $23.2 million galloping through the gates, while Jennifer Lopez attracted $17.2 million which was Enough for fifth place.
