John Entwistle, rock-steady bassist for rock legends The Who died in Las Vegas at the age of 57.
According to officials the death of the 57 year-old musician, who was to join bandmates Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend on tour Friday, does not appear to be suspicious.
The Who’s manager, Bill Curbishly, said John’s bandmates were devastated. “The entire Who family is terribly saddened by John’s passing. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, friends and the millions of Who fans the world over.”
