Jason Priestley hurt in racing accident

Actor Jason Priestley, best known for his role as Brandon Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210, has been injured during the final practice for the Indy Racing Infiniti Pro Series at Kentucky Speedway.
The 32-year-old Canadian, who has been driving for Kelley Racing in the Indy Racing League’s Infiniti Pro Series season, was flown to the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Doctors announced that Priestley had suffered a spinal fracture in the middle of his back and a closed head injury, as well as broken bones in both feet.
Priestley, who won a 1998 Grand-Am race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, has recently been working as an ABC Sports announcer for Indy Racing League broadcasts.
