Oscar® presenters start lining up

We’ve got some more Oscar® news for you, as the list of presenters starts to shape up.
Academy Award®-nominated actress Kate Hudson will present the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards on Saturday, March 1, at the Regent Beverly Wilshire.
Three Oscar® statuettes will be among the 14 awards presented at the gala black-tie dinner. Alias/Wavefront will receive an Oscar for developing “Maya,” a 3-D animation, modeling and rendering production tool. Oscars® also will be presented to Arnold & Richter Cine Technik and to Panavision Inc., for the two companies’ continuing advancements in camera systems designed for the film industry. Portions of this presentation will be taped for inclusion in the March 23 Academy Awards® broadcast.
Presenters currently confirmed for Oscar night include Meg Ryan, Will Smith, Renée Zellweger, Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, Jennifer Connelly, Jennifer Lopez, Julianne Moore and Denzel Washington.
