Spector produces a murder rap
Feb 04, 2003 by Ian Evans
Record producer Phil Spector, famous for his Wall of Sound, was arrested yesterday after a woman, B-movie actress Lana Clarkson, was found dead in his mansion. He was freed after posting a $1 million bond. Spector’s lawyer is Robert Shapiro, best known for being part of the O.J. Simpson defense team.
Spector has been known to have a volatile temper and several artists, including Leonard Cohen, have said that he’s even pulled a gun on them in the studio.
