Emmy nominations announced

The Emmy Award nominations were announced early this morning. The most-nominated show was Six Feet Under, which earned a total of 16 nods.

Surprisingly, Law & Order was left out of the Best Drama Series nominations, those nods instead going to Six Feet Under, The West Wing, The Sopranos, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and 24.

In the comedy realm, both Everybody Loves Raymond and Sex and the City landed 13 nominations. The Best Comedy Series nominees were Everybody Loves Raymond, Sex and the City, Friends, Will & Grace and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
