SAG auctions gift bags and bleacher seats

The Screen Actors Guild is holding an auction to raise money for the SAG Foundation.

The first weekly auction of Screen Actors Guild Awards® luxury gift collections and one-of-a-kind autographed show memorabilia in the fourth annual series of eBay auctions to benefit the SAG Foundation will close on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at 9 pm PT/ 12 midnight ET.

This week at the auction the SAG Awards is auctioning its Nominee Gift Collection, which is presented to actors nominated for the 10th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® in the individual and ensemble categories. This gift collection includes three nights in the Dominican Republic’s SunVillage Beach Resort as well as top of the line products and services from Philosophy, Sonya Dakar, Sports Club LA, and more. Auction participants will also have an opportunity to vie during this week’s bidding for Red Carpet Bleacher Seats for this year’s SAG Awards and such collectibles as photos autographed by Salma Hayek, Jason Alexander and Annette Bening.

The SAG Foundation serves both the community at large through its Book PALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) literacy program and the acting community through such programs as the Membership Assistance Fund, Catastrophic Health Fund, AIDS Fund and John Dales Scholarship Fund.
