Look! Up in the sky! It’s Nic Cage’s kid!

Nicolas Cage and his wife, Alice Kim Cage, welcomed their new son on Monday afternoon. Cage, a fan of comic books, named their son Kal-el Coppola Cage.

For those unfamiliar with Superman’s heritage, that just so happens to be his birth name on the plantet Krypton.

We send our congratulations to the new parents and will keep an eye out for the first Hollywood couple to name their offspring after the Seven Dwarves.
