48th Grammy Award Nominations

The nominations for the 48th Annual Grammy Awards were announced today by artists including Natasha Bedingfield, Big & Rich, Mariah Carey, Chad Kroeger, Patti LaBelle, John Legend, Carly Simon, Sway, and CeCe Winans.

Mariah Carey, John Legend and Kanye West topped the nods with eight each, while 50 Cent, Beyoncé Knowles, The Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am, and Stevie Wonder each had six. Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Gwen Stefani and U2 received five each, and Common, Destiny’s Child, Foo Fighters, Gorillaz, Neptunes, Brad Paisley, Phil Tan, and Gretchen Wilson each earned four.
