Moviegoers sin at cinema

Perhaps it was Bruce Willis, or more likely Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson, that caused moviegoers to make Sin City the number one flick this weekend. The comic book actioner took in an estimated $28.1 million in its opening weekend. It beat out the expected winner, Beauty Shop, which was in second place with $13.5 million. That barely squeaked by last week’s top dog, Guess Who. The Bernie Mac/Ashton Kutcher comedy made $13 million in its second weekend. The computer animated Robots was in fourth with $10 million while Sandra Bullock’s Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous rounded out the top five with $8.4 million.
