Audiences vacation with Williams

Robin Williams and his onscreen family rode RV to the top of box office this weekend taking in $16.4 million in its debut. Universal’s United 93, which only had a budget around $15 million, had an $11.4 opening.
Meanwhile, Disney’s Norma Rae in leotards, Stick It, vaulted into third spot with $10.8 million, while Silent Hill was still making noise at number four with $9.3 million.
Scary Movie 4 rounded out the top five with $7.8 million in its third weekend.
