Swank files for divorce

Hilary Swank, who separated from husband Chad Lowe in January after eight years of marriage, has filed for divorce.

Shortly after their winter split, the couple had held out hope for reconciliation. A spokesperson for the couple said, “They continue to be friends and have the utmost respect for one another.”
