Lindsay Lohan checks into rehab

Lindsay Lohan, the hard-partying actress known more for her antics than her accomplishments, checked into an LA rehab clinic on Tuesday.

Lohan, 20, who was recently seen partying shortly after appendix surgery, issued a statemtent through her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, that said, “I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time.”

Back in December, Lohan admitted she had been going to Alcoholics Anonymous for a year, though her time without a drink had only been seven days. The underage partyer was most recently seen in the movie Bobby.
