Michelle Rodriguez sentenced to six months

I remember when writing about the entertainment beat meant stories about casting and awards. Now it seems to be a steady stream of arrests and sentences.

Former Lost star Michelle Rodriguez joined the list of jailbirds on Wednesday when she was sentenced to six months for failing to complete the community service and alcohol monitoring terms of her DUI probation. Her sentence will start Christmas Eve.

A spokesman for the LA City Attorney’s office said that Rodriguez “admitted violation of her probation by failing to provide proof of community service and by consuming alcohol three times while wearing an alcohol monitoring device.”
