American Idol final 12 contains shockers

The American Idol final 12 contained a few shockers tonight that had the judges’ jaws dropping and saying that “America got it wrong.”

The sixth season’s final 12 are: Blake Lewis, LaKisha Jones, Chris Sligh, Jordin Sparks, Phil Stacey, Melinda Doolittle, Brandon Rogers, Gina Glocksen, Chris Richardson, Stephanie Edwards, Haley Scarnato and Sanjaya Malakar.

Wait, a second…where’s Sabrina Sloan and Jason “Sundance” Head? And do you really mean that Sanjaya Malakar made it through? They did a recount for Al Gore in 2000…can’t we do one for AI this year?

No big surprise that internet photo fave Antonella Barba didn’t make it through, as her singing’s much weaker than her wet t-shirt posing skills. Still, depending on how hard up for money she is, she does have the option of entertaining $250,000 and $500,000 offers from Joe Francis’ Girls Gone Wild and adult retailer SugarDVD.
