Britney Spears heads to hospital after custody incident

Crazed popstar Britney Spears’ life took another nightmarish turn towards the bizarre and sad tonight as both she and her youngest son were taken to hospital after police were called in for a domestic situation.

LAPD officers were called to Spears’ home Thursday night to settle a custodial dispute. Their presence at the home lasted nearly three hours. Spears was supposed to turn her two sons over to their father, Kevin Federline, this evening as part of their custody arrangement. Police were dispatched when the court-ordered transfer did not occur and officers found Britney under the influence. An ambulance was also called and took the once popular singer to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Another ambulance then took her youngest son, Jayden James, to the hospital while older brother Sean Preston, 2, was driven off in a car by Federline’s bodyguards.
