Charles Barkley arrested on suspicion of DUI

Former NBA star and TNT co-host Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Barkley was arrested by Gilbert, Arizona police after he ran a stop sign early Wednesday morning. It appears the former NBA-er was looking to get a hummer…and there wasn’t a dealership nearby, if you know what I mean.

In their arrest report, police noted that Barkley told them that he was in a hurry to get oral sex from a girl who had performed the services on him a week earlier. She apparently was worth getting arrested for, as Barkley said it was “the best one he had ever had in his life.”

In a statement issued to AP, “Sir Charles” said that, “I am disappointed that I put myself in that situation. The Scottsdale police were fantastic. Now it is a legal matter and I will not comment any further as it is a legal matter.”
