Marilyn Chambers found dead

Marilyn Chambers, whose 1972 adult film Behind the Green Door became a mainstream hit, was found dead Sunday in he LA County home. She was 56.

Chambers, who was once a model for Ivory Snow commercials, became a star back in the 1970s when, before VCRs and the internet, adult films were shown in a small number of specialty cinemas.
