Perspectives on Screenwriting discussion to be hosted by Academy

Aspiring screenwriters will do themselves a favor if attend “Perspectives on Screenwriting,” a roundtable discussion on contemporary screenwriting with Oscar® nominee Susannah Grant, Ehren Kruger and Andrew Marlowe presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Tuesday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
Grant, who wrote Erin Brockovich and The Soloist will discuss translating biography to film, Kruger who worked on The Ring, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will discuss writing for screen worlds dominated by digital effects, and Marlowe, who penned Air Force One_ and __Hollow Man will focus on the process of writing for action films.
All three participants are former Nicholl Fellowship recipients. The Academy’s Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting is currently celebrating its 25th year.
