Kara DioGuardi out at Idol

First Simon Cowell left American Idol, heading off to host the U.S. version of his X Factor show. Ellen DeGeneres was the next to leave. Her personality never really worked as a judge as she was more cheerleader than critic. Now Randy Jackson will be wondering who he’ll be sitting next to as Fox confirmed the rumors that songwriter Kara DioGuardi would no longer be sitting at the judges’ table.
“I felt like I won the lottery when I joined `American Idol’ two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave Idol,” DioGuardi’s statement read.
Neither DioGuardi nor Fox elaborated on her exit from the show that took a ratings hit last season. Now it just remains to be seen which of the rumored stars will be sitting next to Jackson and judging the hopeful singers.
