Ricky Gervais to host 69th Golden Globes

NBC wanted him back for a while — ratings dontcha know — but the Hollywood Foreign Press Association finally warmed to the idea of having Ricky Gervais host the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards On January 15th.

Ricky, whose no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners comedy ruffled a few A-list celebrity feathers earlier this year, signed on to host after meeting with HFPA President Dr. Aida Takla-O’Reilly in Paris.
