Amy Winehouse found dead
Jul 23, 2011 by Ian Evans
Amy Winehouse, whose hit single “Rehab” chronicled her real-life struggles with addictions, was found dead Saturday in her London home. She was 27.
Sadly, this story is not shocking for many, as Winehouse’s self-destructive behaviour made this less a case of “if” and more a case of “when”.
Winehouse skyrocketed to fame with the album Back to Black, which won the soulful singer with the beehive ‘do five Grammys. London police confirmed she was pronounced dead at her home in Camden Square. Currently, they say the death is “unexplained.”
