Telluride gets $50,000 from Academy

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has give a grant of $50,000 to underwrite the 2011 Telluride Film Festival’s Guest Director program, which this year features musician Caetano Veloso.

This is the fourth consecutive year that AMPAS has funded the program at Telluride.
