Music legend Prince dead at age 57

The Associated Press is reporting that music legend Prince, born Prince Rogers Nelson, was found at his home recording studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota. He was 57.

Winner of seven Grammy Awards, Prince sold over 100 million albums with his amazing fusion of funk, pop, rock and R&B. He also won an Academy Award for best original song score for the 1984 film Purple Rain.

The cause of death has not been released. He had cancelled several recent performances due to what his staff called the flu.
