Jurors in the Pennsylvania court weighing comedian Bill Cosby’s guilt on three counts of aggravated indecent assault have informed the judge that they remain deadlocked after 31 hours of deliberation.
Judge Steven O’Neill asked the jurors to keep trying, reading them the Spencer Charge, a set of rules and instructions that asks them to continue examining their opinions.
The judge said, “I am required to read you an instruction. The jury foreman has informed me that you are deadlocked. If you are still deadlocked you should report that to me. If you’ve reached a unanimous decision on some of the charges, please report that back to me.”
