Last Wedding to open Toronto Film Fest

The world premiere of Bruce Sweeney’s Last Wedding will be the opening night gala of the 26th Toronto International Film Festival on September 6.

The film explores three young couples at different stages in their relationships and stars Benjamin Ratner, Frida Betrani, Tom Scholte, Nancy Sivak, Vincent Gale, and Molly Parker.

Director Sweeney’s Live Bait was the winner of the Toronto-City Award for Best Canadian Feature Film at the Festival in 1995.
