Minority gets the majority

Well, the final numbers are in and Minority Report beat Disney’s Lilo & Stitch by a hair.
The Tom Cruise sci-fi vehicle took in $35,677,125, just over $400,000 more than Lilo & Stitch’s $35,260,212.
Last week’s number one, Scooby-Doo, dropped over 50% and took in just over $24 million for third place. Friends Matt Damon and Ben Affleck took fourth and fifth, with Matt’s The Bourne Identity pulling in $15 million while Ben’s The Sum of All Fears took in just under $8 million.
The other big opening this weekend, Juwanna Mann, opened in eighth with almost $5.5 million.
