33rd Toronto International Film Festival Coverage: Day Eight

Day Eight and the wind-down continues. A lot of the international press are heading home tonight.

I headed over to Roy Thompson Hall to cover the premier of Mesrine: L’ennemi public n° 1, Jean-François Richet’s follow-up to L’instinct de mort. The film, which stars Vincent Cassel, tells the story of France’s Public Enemy Number One, Jacques Mesrine. Mesrine was a notorious, though sometimes romanticized, criminal known for string of bank robberies, kidnapping and murders.
