Welcome to DigitalHit’s coverage of the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, which ran from September 5th to the 15th.

This popular event, which attracts dedicated cinephiles and screaming fans, was our home for eleven days and here’s a look at some of the facts and figures:

  • 366 films of which 288 were features and 78 were shorts
  • 146 world premieres, 31 international premieres and 93 North American premieres
  • 4892 submissions were made to get to the list of 366
  • 70 different countries were represented
  • watching everything would take 31,362 minutes
