I suppose if you’re going to confirm a separation you kept quiet for months, doing it on the day of the Madonna/Guy Ritchie divorce news is the way to go.
David Duchovny, who just left rehab for sex addiction, has separated from his wife of 11 years, actress Téa Leoni. The couple have two children.
Their publicists said in a statement that, “In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Téa Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months. The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”
This was the second marriage for Leoni and a first for Duchovny.
